I was on the lookout for an enzyme mask to use weekly that actually works, and this Peter Thomas Roth Mask seemed to fit the bill! My skin is fairly sensitive, and I use a salicylic product daily for gentle exfoliation.
However, in my research I have found that the best way to deal with the appearance of large pores is a weekly enzyme mask (for my skin). I had been on the hunt for a while for something worth my time. One day Caroline Hirons (skincare goddess) posted the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Mask on her Instagram with a ringing endorsement. SOLD!
I went straight to Ulta, and……..they didn’t have it. Luckily, one of the Sephora locations in my city did. I took it home and started the triple mask method as outline by Hirons. The next day my skin looked so much better, and my two pimples were almost gone.
Then after one more night, the pimples disappeared! The texture of the mask is a little grainy, and the smell is the light divine scent of pumpkin. It is obviously deep orange, and I apply with a brush so as to not contaminate my hands. I have been using this mask once a week since, and the texture of my skin has improved by leaps and bounds. PLUS I haven’t experienced pimples since I started regular use!
I have a great skin care regimen that has completely cleared my acne. This mask was just the element I was missing to really improve the texture of my skin. I am hoping over time that it will make my scars practically disappear. I will update this post in six months on that front, but in the meantime, go get this mask!
I had a pumpkin enzyme facial once and it left my skin so amazing. I’ve been wondering if this would work for home use. I’ll check out Caroline’s website… her advice and recommendations are stellar. So glad its working for you.
