The team at Erin Condren generously sent me the 2020 Soft Bound LifePlanner for a first look!
I am what is fondly known as a #plannergirl, and an Erin Condren LifePlanner is what made me fall in love with planning in a physical planner. The bright colors and motivational quotes add to the function of the planner.

This year I am using an Erin Condren LifePlanner for daily life planning, the Erin Condren Deluxe Monthly planner for budgeting, and thanks to a preview box I received, the Erin Condren Soft Bound Notebook for my weekly review process.

You may hear my excitement in the video, and the joy I experienced from the color of the Planny Pack. Highlights from this release include:
- Soft Bound Cover – the quality of the Soft Bound cover is right in line with the Erin Condren hard covers. The material is very sturdy, but still flexible and in line with competitors. I appreciate the color saturation, and wipeable aspects of the cover.
- Paper quality – the video shares a pen test, and none of the markers bled through the paper. It is thick enough to withstand markers, but not so thick that the planner or notebook is unnecessarily bulky.
- Medium and fine tip marker – I do not write hard, so a saturated fine tip marker is right up my alley. Also, I like the option to create a thick line with the medium tip and write on top of the line with a fine tip with the same marker.
- Planny pack – I adore the burnt orange color of the Planny Pack, and the blue interior. Plus, the back pocket is such a great surprise and clever way to keep items at reach.
I am using my Pilot G2 pen with the pen loop and the SoftBound Notebook for weekly planning. Furthermore, I put the lined sticky notes in the back of the notebook to easily create grocery lists that I can transfer to my LifePlanner once I am ready to hit the stores.
What would I buy with my own coins? In my opinion, the Erin Condren Soft Bound Notebook & LifePlanner are great quality planning options that will enhance your planning sessions. The Planny Pack is a very convenient pouch for carrying around pens, markers, and any stickers needed on the go.
